Action 2

The main results derived from the project were presented in relation to Action 2 of the project, which has aimed to carry out a diagnosis of the current state in relation to the degree of representation of artisanal fleets at the different decision levels (from the local to the European level).

First seminar has been organized and conducted to present the results of the first half of the project. These results include the map of the SSF organizations and the assessment of the degree of involvement of SSF organization in the private and public institutional fabric and especially in ACs. The seminar provided in-depth information about the SSF governance challenges in the selected case studies in south-western waters. A static photograph of the current institutional model to manage SSF was presented.

This sesion is included as part of a technical workshop organized by the CCS, which will take place in Bilbao on February 1, 2017 at the NH Villa Hotel in Bilbao.
